IAN KLEIN, President + Creative Director is a writer and creative consultant with a career built on content creation, visual design, and the ins and outs of worldbuilding. Since founding Vizir Productions in 2015, he has had the opportunity to help develop experiences and narratives for a diverse set of partners from film studios to theme park design firms and consumer brands.
Ian holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Washington and an MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University which was awarded upon his completion of studies in playwriting, dramatic structure, and creative development.
With a strong academic background and penchant for research, he is also a regular contributor to popular culture studies as an essayist and speaker. His work is featured in several academic publications including books from BenBella Books and Rowman & Littlefield—more here. Ian currently serves on the boards of the Themed Entertainment Association Western Division and Slice Creative Network, a resource for freelance attractions industry professionals.
